MCHD CEO Alma Martinez welcomed those in attendance and the Board proceeded to conduct official business including the Canvassing of the November 3rd election votes, and Oath for Newly Elected Officials Swearing In and Signing the Official Oath of Office.
Becky Robinson, Humberto “Beto” Duran, and Gerardo "Gera" Villalpando then took their seats as newly elected board members.
The new board which includes Adolfo Olivares and Aaron Valdez then proceeded to hold the rest of the meeting.
The new board's first action was
the election of Maverick County Hospital District Board Officers: (Chairman, Vice Chairman and Secretary Treasurer).
The board decided to name Aaron Valdez as Chairman, Becky Robinson as Vice Chairperson, and Adolfo Olivares as Secretary.
Mrs. Martinez , the Board, and Administration then recognized outgoing Board members JM Chuco Farias for 18 years of service to the Hospital District.
CPA Jesus Casas was also recognized for his years of service and leadership.

The Maverick County Hospital District Board of Trustees held a meeting on Wednesday, November 18th in which they swore in the three new members who won a seat during their election.
